I never posted it, but Angel got a new haircut after becoming a champion. It's much easier to groom her now, and she looks pretty nice too! I have no picture of her just yet, have been too lazy with the camera, but it's home-made. I got quite surprised at my skills, actually, cause I'm pretty happy with the result!

Things have not been easy this semester...

First; my mum got cancer, but thankfully she had a surgery and removed it. She is fine now.
Second; Angel got bitten... She had to sow 4 stiches. I really don't like Staffordshire bullterriers!!!
Third; I'm no longer in a relationship... Angel's dad didn't want to live with us any more, so now it's just the 2 of us.
Fourth; Mark and a good friend of mine, Christina, failed their exams and have to go back...
Fifth; Angel's close friend, Liska, got ill and died from cancer. It was actually a really horrible story, and I give all my best wishes to her owners; Elisabeth and Halldor. It all happened really quickly, and poor Liska didn't get more than 1,5 year here.
Sixth; My sister's father-in-law died of COPD. Truely sad. All the best for her and Tore, and the rest of his family.
Seventh; My grandma (92 years) has fallen and broken her teeth and also her wrist. She is really old now, and she has difficulties hearing and seing.

Things haven't really gone my way this semester... I hope I manage my exams well, and that the rest of this year will be better!!!

Photoshoot of my new Champion

Since Angel now is a champion, I thought she should have, like most other champions, a photoshoot! I borrowed my friend Halldor's mirror-reflex camera, brought with me Camilla up to the fields, and the photoshoot was on! We got some really good pictures!!!

Angel has become a Slovak Champion!
We went to the poodleclub show yesterday, and she was amazing in the ring! She prooved to everyone that she is an amazing poodle, and the judge took particular liking to her! Was really nice to hear, and I spoke quite a lot with her.

From 5 shows in Slovakia that she could get CAC in, she got 4 CAC, 1 CACres, 1 CACIB, 1 CACIC rec, 1 BOB!!! Very, very good! I am sooo proud of my baby!

Long time, no see!

It's been a long time since I wrote anything here now... Haven't been to any shows since last time, cause I've had quite a lot to do at school.
I'd like to post some pictures of Angel from this winter. It was really amazing here when I came back from Norway; it was approximately -20'C, and no snow! Was frost everywhere and a 'cold fog' which made it even more beautiful!
I went walking with my good friend Christina practically every day, and we even took some pictures with her super-camera! ;)I posted this picture to a competition, and won the 3rd price!!! Felt bad for Christina, cause I forgot it was her photo, taken with her camera, but she said it was ok. I owe her one!

My sister came visiting us in february. It's always good to get visitors, and I kind of need one family-member to visit me per semester to make the longing home easier. I will still miss them, but not as much (I think). Here's Angel sleeping on Margrethe's bed with her favourite toy; the Lama!


Last week we went to Bratislava to meet up with a friend of Mark who's coming to visit us. Since we were going there, I managed to get an appointment to cut Angel as well. She really needed that!

Otitis...

My poor little baby had an ear-infection... Her left ear was almost pure black from pus, and it looked really painful. I went to the vet as sonn as I saw it, and she thought it had lasted 5 days or so... I feel sooo bad for not noticing it earlier! She has been crying quite a lot lately, which she never does, but I didn't understand why... I hope -and think- this was the reason.
Thank God her tympanic membrane was intact, and it was all pretty good after she washed it out. I got a crem/drops with painkillers and antibiotics that I have to drip into her bad ear for a week.

This video shows Angel getting overexcited about the fountains in Martin! She went crazy every time we walked by them.
